Finding the right provider for your NDIS plan can be very overwhelming and involves several steps:
1. Understanding Your Needs:
Identify the types of services that may help you achieve your goals.
2. Researching Providers:
You can use the NDIS Provider Finder tool to find a registered provider. You can also check for providers on the internet, look at reviews, or get advice from friends or family.
3. Contacting Providers:
Speak with different providers before you choose one. This could be face-to-face or over the phone.
4. Provider Wait Lists:
Sometimes, the provider you would like to work with will tell you they have a waiting list. You can ask them about the length of the wait, whether you can put your name down now, and whether you can work with other providers while you are waiting.
5. Making a Decision:
Consider factors such as the provider’s services, reviews, advice from friends or family, and your interaction with the provider.
