I am an experienced professional with over 25 years experience in the mainstream and Aboriginal Health sector.

I believe in fostering a culture that is safe and supportive and helps each other grow.
I am a proud Aboriginal woman and graduate of the Governor’s Leadership Foundation program, I work in partnership and negotiate needs to improve health outcomes for my community.

As a foster parent of a child with disabilities, I have navigated between DCP, NDIS and our needs, and I feel I can support you too.

NDIS Support coordination helps you to make the best use of your supports in plan. Support coordination is a capacity building support which helps you to:

  • Understand and use your NDIS plan to pursue your goals
  • Connect you with NDIS providers, community, mainstream and other government services
  • Build your confidence and skills to use and coordinate your supports.
  • A support coordinator or specialist support coordinator delivers support coordination services.

Yasmini Kedem

asmin Kedem is an accomplished educator, Learning advisor and counselor, with significant international exposure in the visual and fine arts.

Along with educational consultancy experience, Kedem has considerable experience in art forms as varied as set design, masks, major painted glass installations, sculpture and mixed media exhibitions.

  4. Art Therapy Strategies.

These tools form the foundation for quality framework cognitive & educational triggers and counselling activities which have been applied extensively for international students and counselling workshops which she has designed, implemented and delivered within framework contexts for local and international students in Europe and the Middle East, and now in Caloundra, Queensland.  Here Yasmin helps individuals with self-esteem, & art therapy strategies at ‘Positive Directions”, facilitating cultural acclimatisation and or personal adjustments strategies.

Multi-degreed at the postgraduate level in both Counselling and education, Kedem demonstrates an acute understanding of the integration of theory and practice in counselling, coaching, art therapy strategies and education.

Kedem is committed to the ongoing philosophy and methodology of practice-based research in wellbeing and education, art, and design with the client production of original artifacts at the basis of her research practice, integrating traditional with cutting-edge digital methods, stretching the boundaries of contemporary art applied to understandings of wellbeing stimulus and cognition.

Widely commissioned, Kedem has participated in over 50 exhibitions, workshops within the community as part of her work as a life coach and Art Therapist, as well as exhibiting her work at ‘Talented Friends’, now that she lives in the Sunshine Coast.
