I’m Josh Chesterman, a father of two and an outdoor enthusiast based in the Yarra Valley. I’ve been sharing my passion for outdoor recreation and education with others, promoting well-being and community through outdoor experiences. As the Assistant Manager of a busy camping facility, I have gained extensive experience running day programs and camps for people of all ages and abilities, including outdoor programs for adults, teens, and children with disabilities.I also love building relationships, good conversation, good coffee, video games, movies, and tabletop gaming. I’m quite savvy with computers and a good handyman with all of my own tools, and lots of experience in household repairs, landscaping and gardening. I love to cook and my wife and I consider ourselves something of amateur foodies – if not budget-conscious ones. I would love to use my skills and experiences to assist, teach, or just have fun with participants.My friends know me for my empathy for the needs of others, my friendly and jovial attitude, my sense of duty and integrity, and my faith in God.I am committed to creating safe and empowering experiences for all, and I’m always looking for new ways to help others discover the beauty of nature.
