Biography (Optional)	I’m a social worker with an extensive background in MH gained from 14yrs working in a clinical setting in adult mental health. I left this setting approx 1yr ago to seek a role that would allow for meaningful connections with people and a more holistic view in regards to treatment and recovery journeys. I have been working as an NDIS support worker for the past year and absolutely love it as it’s aligns with my professional principals and values.

General Vibe	Im a warm and friendly person who has a genuine interest in helping people who are suffering from significant and chronic mental illness. I practice in an honest and transparent manner, always seek to achieve best outcomes and assist people to achieve their individual goals. I encourage and support people to engage in activity’s that may assist in maintaining stability, foster independence and build confidence through community engagement. I have a holistic framework, seek to encourage and promote movement and exercise given the proven physical and psychological benefits for individuals suffering from mental illness. I also value getting out amongst nature for the same reason but understand that there can be barriers in relation to same. I aim to support people to build capacity through individualised strategies and approaches. I always aim to have fun, create smiles and laughter in my role as support worker. I believe that people are the experts in their own life and i aim to support people in making their own decisions and have input in navigating their recovery journey.
