Biography (Optional)	MagicAbility Support Services was founded by Katherine Mead in October 2020, who was Sole Trader in the Disability Sector amidst the 2020 COVID-19 Pandemic. Katherine was working on her own supporting multiple clients, across the Western Sydney Area. Whilst some clients cancelled their services, others increased their level of support. More clients were staying home than ever before, yet their parents/ carers still had to work. Where they used to attend day programs, they were now stuck at home with little to no support, and not much to do in the way of activities. This is where Katherine came along and assisted them to find COVIDSafe outings and activities. In October, when things just started reopening again, and life started to look “normal” again, Katherine started receiving phone calls from pre-Covid clients, asking to resume services. At this point, Katherine was unable to take on these services again. It was at this point that Katherine started looking into options to expand why she started as a sole trader, into bigger and better things. She officially registered MagicAbility on October 30th 2020, and has been building up her clients and support workers ever since.
