General Vibe	Hello, thank you for taking the time to visit, my name is Jodie. I am a believer that it ‘takes a village’ and advocate for Play therapy as part of Allied Health Services for children of all ages. I appreciate the uniqueness in each person, whilst promoting the integration of strategies for parent-child relationships. I have experience providing emotional and behavioural support to a variety of individuals, particularly school aged children in the special school education setting. I have experience in facilitating groups for both adults and children/youth. I enjoy helping others to flourish in life and utilise a strength-based approach to support healing and hope.
Particular Niches Catered for	MY TREATMENT FOCUS Play therapy is a creative intervention that provides a child with a safe space to ‘play out’ what is happening for them in their worlds, rather than ‘talk through their experiences’. Play therapy is an effective therapy to help children modify their behaviours, clarify their self-concept, and build healthy relationships. Children will have access to a variety of art materials, puppets, musical instruments, miniatures, and role play toys to give voice to their story.
