| General Vibe | I started Spark Disability Services because I have a passion for helping people to find the mojo, the motivation, the… yes, that’s right – the SPARK they need to achieve the things that are meaningful to them. I get a real kick out of seeing people persevere to achieve things that once upon a time they may have thought were out of reach. My work is based on two basic principles: First, that coaching is a central part of helping people to realise the potential of NDIS supports; Second, that I love to work with people who want to take control over and responsibility for their own lives. So that’s the idea I used as the foundation of Spark – don’t just give people the fish they need to survive – provide the spark they need to become the fisherman. |

| Biography (Optional) | Hi! My name is Thane; I worked as an NDIS Local Area Coordinator in Ballarat between 2017 and 2021, specialising in supporting people with assistive technology needs and connecting people to support services in the general community. I am looking forward to working with people to plan and coordinate their support services, both disability- and not disability-related. I aim to help people understand and use their NDIS plans, and to engage with other support services that may not be available through the NDIS. I am based in the Central Highlands region in Victoria, but I am available to work with people across Australia, either over the phone or via Zoom.
I love watching, playing and coaching sport, particularly hockey. The thing I love most is having the chance to pass ideas on to young people – it’s the best part of being a dad! |
