Job Description

In the role you will be responsible for growing and coordinating a portfolio of clients within our Disability Outreach, Centre based and Short term accommodation. You will work with a Community Support Manager to ensure the continued growth of the portfolio, meeting community need by facilitating the delivery of high quality programs.

This is a hands on role, with responsibilities including;

  • Coordination of support staff to provide community support to people with a disability, through our Outreach, Centre based and In Home services.
  • Management of the rostering system and client data collection
  • Support growth of the business through engagement with community

Desired Skills and Experience

You are a passionate, experienced disability services leader with a proven track record of managing within the NDIS/Disability space. You can problem-solve, work in a team and independently, and you’re committed to service excellence.

Criteria:

Qualification in Individual Support or other related field at Cert IV minimum.

Current unencumbered Driver’s Licence

Current Working With Children Check

Skills & Experience

  • 3-5 years’ experience working in a community or disability setting/service (or similar).
  • Capacity to interpret and work within relevant program guidelines and to monitor service provision within a given budget
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills and well developed interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution/mediation, networking, negotiation and advocacy skills.
  • Understanding of social disadvantage and commitment to the rights of Indigenous and other people living with disability and/or mental illness.
