The Derby Aboriginal Health Service (DAHS) is a dynamic Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service in the magnificent Kimberley region of Western Australia. We are seeking employment for a NDIS Manager is responsible for managing the services DAHS delivers to people with a disability. This role will implement the DAHS Operational Model for Disability Services that supports self-directed approach and program financial sustainability. The role will be responsible for building strong relationships with NDIS funding bodies, community organisation, internal and external stakeholders to create and develop programs that meet the needs of our community. The role requires knowledge and understanding of the disability sector and service standards, human rights and the principals of person centred plans and the participant’s individual choice and control regarding supports. Creating and maintaining strong professional networks within Disability Service Providers is essential in order to assist participants with access to appropriate supports that meet their needs.
