Journey to Integration Part 1 (for inner child work, BPD or DID)
Journey to Integration Part 1: Awareness
Part of the unconscious human condition is to have many fragmented aspects of self – some of these we will recognise as quite distinct (e.g. the “inner critic”) while other parts will be relegated to the “shadows” of our psyche (e.g. the “wounded child”).
For some people with significant trauma, these fragmented aspects of self become distressing and in the help-seeking process, you may become diagnosed with mental disorders like Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) and Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD).
Whether diagnosed or not, the “integration work” with our fragmented aspects is something we can all do to heal and/or become authentic and empowered.
In this video series of three parts, I share what I have learnt from working with these aspects myself – from the first step of awareness, to the hard work of learning to validate and understand all aspects of myself, to the final step of integration and self-love, which is a gateway to higher spiritual experiences.
